1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using FireTime, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.
2. Description of Service
FireTime is an interval timer application designed to help you create and execute workout routines. The app provides:
- Quick workout generation based on your preferences
- Custom workout builder for personalized routines
- Timer functionality with audio and haptic cues
- Optional integration with Apple Health to log workouts
- Apple Watch companion app
3. Health Disclaimer
Important: FireTime is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or health condition.
Before beginning any exercise program, you should consult with your physician or healthcare provider. By using FireTime, you acknowledge that:
- You are in good physical condition and have no disability, impairment, or ailment that prevents you from engaging in active exercise
- You understand that exercise involves inherent risks including injury or death
- You assume all responsibility for your physical condition and any injuries that may occur
- The exercises provided are suggestions only and should be modified based on your fitness level
4. Use of the App
You agree to use FireTime only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
- Use the app in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels on the app
- Use the app to develop a competing product or service
5. Intellectual Property
FireTime and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by FireTime and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
6. User Content
Any custom workouts you create within FireTime remain your property. These are stored locally on your device and are not accessible to us or any third party.
7. Apple Health Integration
If you choose to enable Apple Health integration:
- FireTime will write workout data to Apple Health with your permission
- This data is governed by Apple's privacy policy and your device settings
- You can revoke this permission at any time through your device's Settings
- We do not read or access any of your existing health data
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
FireTime is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:
- Implied warranties of merchantability
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Non-infringement
- Accuracy or completeness of content
We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FireTime and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
- Personal injury or death
- Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
- Service interruption or computer damage
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FireTime and its developer from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the app or violation of these Terms.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
12. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the app immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the app will cease immediately.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
